How to request a free and binding quote
9/2/2026
Three steps to a free quote for your translation or certified translation – with a fixed price and delivery date, reply within 30 minutes during office hours.
You need a translation – perhaps a certified translation for an authority, a court or a university – and want to know what it costs? At UniTranslate you receive a free, binding quote with a fixed price and delivery date. Here is how it works.
Step 1: Fill in the quote request form
Open our quote request form and upload your documents – as a PDF, scan or photo. Choose the service you need (translation, certified translation, notarised translation or translation with apostille), state the source and target language and tell us by when you need the translation. All details and files are transferred encrypted and treated confidentially.
Step 2: Binding quote within 30 minutes
During office hours (Mon–Fri 08:00–18:00, Sat 09:00–14:00) our project managers review your documents personally and send you a binding quote by e-mail within 30 minutes – with a fixed price, delivery date and all relevant details. No estimate, no hidden costs: the quoted price is the price you pay. Standard certificates such as birth certificates, marriage certificates or diplomas are quoted at a flat rate; longer documents are priced per line.
Step 3: Confirm – we start immediately
As soon as you confirm the quote, our team starts translating. Certified translations are delivered by post, by registered mail or as a PDF with a qualified electronic signature (QES) – recognised by Swiss authorities, courts and universities. For express orders we deliver within 12 to 24 hours.
What makes a quote binding?
A binding quote states a fixed price for a clearly defined assignment: document, language pair, service and delivery date. At UniTranslate, what the quote says is what is delivered and what is invoiced. If the scope or requirements change (for example additional documents or an additional certification), you receive an updated quote before we start – never a surprise invoice.
Tips for a fast quote
The more complete your request, the faster the quote: upload every page of the document (including reverse sides with stamps or annotations), name the destination country of the translation – it determines whether notarisation or an apostille is required – and state your preferred deadline.
